When I decided to sell Five-Star Basketball Camp, after 51 years in my family, i wondered if my basketball life was over.
Who knew that four years later there would be a pandemic and I would get a call about starting virtual clinics with Lason Perkins and Coaches Clinic.
We filled the void left by the cancellation of the Final Four and subsequent Coaching Clinics with a singular purpose of serving the basketball community.
We hosted dozens of clinics and hundreds of talks. We provoked thought, shared ideas and found a way to stay connected in a very isolating time.
It's been two years and a lot has changed since then. There are many sites putting out great content and a night doesn't go by without someone having a Zoom on something.
In looking inward, we no longer felt that CoachTube or Coaches Clinic was setting the bar or serving our fellow coaches to our previous standard of excellence.
Lason and I have spent a lifetime in basketball and we are committed to once again do our part in leading the game forward.
Our primary intention is to create a free basketball community to foster a free flow of ideas. With the abundance of speaker-directed content, we feel a need to push the discussion past the surface level and democratize the voices to challenge and expand those ideas.

We are also committed to a true coaches creator economy where anyone with content has an equal opportunity to monetize it and receive the vast majority of the money.

Speaking of compensation... on any clinic, we charge for, we are committed to the speaker receiving "front-end money" part of the ticket fee and not just the hope of back-end sales %.
